The room certificate is kept when the guest checks in. Keep in mind the motel is selling one night in a room. So the computer system may require a reservation date that is available. It won't allow the front desk to sell a room for a night that is full. We suggest that you give a date like April 30 for the reservation and let your gift recipient know they just need to change the date to a time they will be using it.
